My Journey from the Philippines to America and
home in Clemson, SC

A store in Manila buying the camera for all the pictures and communications to get me home. The start of all of this and the journey.

Loaded up in Manila airport and ready to fly.

Tokyo airport, the way airports should be ran, very organized and one of the best and easiest airports to navigate. The world could learn something from this airport. Signs posted everywhere. If there is anyplace in the airport that the travelers might be confused a person from the airport is there with a clipboard in hand to help send the traveler in the right direction. The airport from one to 10 stars receives a ten star rating from me. Chicago on the same scale receives about a 2 star rating. Tokyo the people are trained to help you, if they see a look of confusion on your face they come to you and offer friendly assistance. I had flight delays going to Chicago, but as a whole I loved the airport in Tokyo.

The airport in Chicago, a two star rating out of ten stars and the worst airport on the trip. First off they searched me for about two hours. the first search they checked all my luggage with a fine tooth comb and then spent a long time searching my laptop for porn off whatever they might find the search came up empty.

I next had a body search and they checked everything again and brought me into a private room so they could touch my private parts to make sure nothing was hidden there. They made me feel like a criminal. After fining nothing I was free to go.

I had a chance to get on a earlier plane and after having delays in Tokyo and in Chicago I took the offer and went on a plane leaving earlier for Greenville. I tried to connect on the internet and they had no free internet, I would have bought the internet for 5 dollars, but I had other problems to worry about and that was getting a flight out of there. I did not like Chicago and it was some what organized but you had to ask questions and there were people who you could ask who had the answers. It is not like Tokyo where customer service is there to help you, Chicago thy will help you, but you have to search for help. still not hard to find your way.

Greenville is an example of cutbacks that are pathetic, I did not take picture at the airport, the ex's car had no key, she lost it and a friend from her church was there with her to pick me up from the airport.

Now for pictures at home in Clemson, SC

Standing outside the apartment in Clemson, SC after arriving from airport.

I feel that is the picture that says I am home.

Picture of the apartment building I am living at, we are on the first floor.

Surrounding area by apartment.

Surrounding area.

The place is kind of like living in the country, the college people have transportation, but if your looking for a job your out of luck if you have no transportation that is why I will make it a priority after the funds from indiegogo come in.

You can see the area is very beautiful and the surrounding areas are very nice, new apartment buildings are going up and there is a chance for work here. The people from South Carolina are very nice people and the area is gorgeous. The airport in Greenville is nice and very small. It's a shame there are very few people who work there late at night. I give the airport a rating of 4 stars, because failure to have people at the airport working is simply bad business.

I want to thank everyone who has helped me reach America and now the new life begins. I don't know what to expect, it's all new and strange for me, but it's home.

  1. So glad to hear you are home! Clemson is a beautiful place, and I hope you can heal there. I'm looking forward to continued work on your projects whenever you're ready. Like you, I'm not particularly religious, but you're in my prayers.
